In reception we promote child centered learning through exciting multisensory activities that challenge and extend children’s knowledge and experience of the world around them. Through exploring a safe environment the children are supported in forming friendships through shared talk, experiences, and collaborative activities.
The children engage in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum where they are inspired to initiate and take ownership over their learning and feel confident to take meaningful risks in their creativity. Teaching is interactive and dynamic, taking place in both the indoor and outdoor classrooms, and promoting the whole child by giving equal opportunities to become a successful learner.
