Dear Parents and Carers,

This half term in R.E., Year 2 are learning about ‘What does it mean to be a Muslim?’ To help support the childrens’ understanding of this topic, we will be visiting the Croydon Mosque and Islamic centre, London Road, Croydon. This visit will consist of a tour and talk about the different areas of the Mosque and what Muslims do when they visit the Mosque.

We will visit on Tuesday 21 January 2025. We will walk to West Croydon bus station for a short bus journey to the Mosque, arriving by 10am. The tour will last for about 1 hour, then we will return to school in time for lunch.

There is no cost to pay for this trip; however, you will need to complete and return the consent slip on next page to your child’s class or to the school office by Friday 17 January 2025.
