Events of Pentecost

This week in Collective Worship, we’ve been learning about the exciting events of Pentecost— the day the Holy Spirit came to the disciples like wind and fire, filling them with courage and joy. We explored how this moment marked the beginning of the Church, as the disciples began sharing the good news of Jesus with the world.

We also began thinking about the Fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self- control. These are the beautiful ways the Holy Spirit helps us grow and live more like Jesus every day.

The children have been reflecting on how they can show these fruits in their own lives, at school and at home.
