Year 1 Science: ‘‘Comparing animals’

Year 1 have started a new topic in Science ‘‘Comparing animals’. This week was all about grouping animals. They grouped them into birds, fish, mammals, amphibians and reptiles. The children were shocked to find out that a penguin is a bird, not a fish and that a bat is a mammal!
