Year 1’s art focus was colour

This week in Art Year 1’s focus was colour. They explored the colour wheel and noticed how warm colours are opposite cool colours in the colour wheel.
Year 1 combined their previous knowledge of lines with their new learning about warm and cool colours to create these stunning sunset pictures. They learnt how artists deliberately chose certain colours in their artworks to create a particular mood or feeling.
