Harvest Festival Service at Croydon Minster

On Tuesday 6th October 2026, we will be having our Harvest Festival Service at Croydon Minster, starting at 9.30am.

We would be delighted if you could join us for this special service. If you can meet us at school and accompany your child’s class to the Minster, please let your class teacher know beforehand.

This year, we are supporting one of Croydon Minster’s charities, Separated Child, which offers emotional, social and practical support to refugee children and youth; as well as The Salvation Army, Croydon. The Salvation Army is a most valuable part of our community. Among other things, they come in to school to listen to children read but also offer Christmas hampers to local families in need, chocolate and magazines to our children at Easter. As a church school, it is our duty us to support those who are in need regardless of their race, origin or background. We seek to practically live out our vision of ‘’Let all that you do be done in love’ individually and collectively.

As usual, we would like the children to bring in a gift for The Separated Child of toiletries, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap, towel, socks and, and other essentials. We ask especially for The Salvation Army tinned soups, beans, tinned fruits, breakfast cereal, tea bags, sugar, long life milk and rice. These can be brought to your child’s classroom any time from now to the morning of the service. We will take the toiletries to church for the service, and The Salvation Army will collect food items.
